How Cash on Delivery works
You place the order without paying anything online, the courier brings the parcel, and you pay the delivery agent in cash. No card details, no UPI handle and no bank information change hands at any point — and nobody legitimate will ask you for a card number, CVV, PIN or OTP to arrange a COD delivery.
The practical things worth knowing: keep the exact amount ready, because couriers often cannot make change; keep the mobile number on the order reachable, because the courier usually calls before delivering; and expect the parcel to be returned to the seller if delivery is refused or nobody is available after the courier's attempts.
How long delivery takes
For KESHME, orders are packed and dispatched within 1–2 business days and typically delivered within 3–7 business days after that, depending on the pincode. Remote pincodes, public holidays and weather add time.

Is the price you see the price you pay?
For the product, yes: MRP in India is stated as inclusive of all taxes, and the KESHME packs print ₹450 inclusive of all taxes. Shipping is the part that varies — ours is a flat ₹49, free on orders of ₹599 or more, and the exact amount is shown at checkout before you place the order.
The figure to check on any store is the total at the final step, not the price on the product page. A shipping charge that only appears after an address is entered is a common and legal practice; a total that changes after you have committed is not.
What you can actually return
Unopened products with the seal intact, and anything that arrives damaged, leaking or incorrect. An opened bottle of hair oil or shampoo generally cannot be returned for hygiene reasons — that is standard across the category, and it is worth knowing before you order rather than after.
What that does not affect is your position when a product is genuinely defective or was misdescribed, which is a matter of consumer law rather than of a store's return page. KESHME's own window is 7 days from delivery.
Checking that a pack is genuine
Ayurvedic hair oil is a widely counterfeited category. None of these are foolproof, and all of them are quick.

The single most effective check. A brand's own site and its listed stockists are the only supply chains it controls.

Read the printed pack, not the listing photo
A genuine pack states net volume, MRP inclusive of taxes, and an ingredient list. Missing or unreadable statutory text is the clearest signal there is.

A large discount on a low-priced consumable is a reason to look harder at the seller, not a reason to hurry.

You are holding the box with the courier still there. A tampered outer or a broken seal is far easier to refuse now than to return later.

- Photograph it before opening where possible and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number. If the outer box is visibly tampered with while the courier is still there, you can refuse the parcel.
